Things You Really Don’t Expect To See When You’re Out Shopping
When you go to the grocery store, or to the mall, or to the gas station, or any store, really, you go in with a reasonable set of expectations. You know what you're probably going to find there, and you know what you're probably not going to find there.
Well, all of the people on this list came across some rather unexpected items and events while they were out and about trying to make some purchases.
A Whole Cat
We had no idea that these cat beds come with a cat pre-installed. It's a nice bonus, and for only $8.99? What a steal.
That looks like one comfortable kitty.
Invisible Bagels
Do you think that this shop just has this invisible sign ready for whenever they run out of a certain kind of bagel?
It definitely seems that way. It's actually pretty clever.
She Spilled The Sprinkles
Reddit user Pyrojodge posted this photo online along with the caption:
"That face as this is the second time she had dumped the sprinkles at the local ice cream shop... (her mom is the owner fyi)."
What A Discount
Oh, well now that this block of cheese is exactly one cent less than it was before, I'm definitely going to buy it... said no one ever.
Why is this a thing?
A Strange Place To Sleep
This person went into a hardware shop to get some wood glue and was surprised by a cat sleeping on top of the brooms outside.
That doesn't look very comfortable.
Online Dating Isn't For Everyone
It looks like whoever owns this ice cream shop is having a hard time finding a partner on Tinder.
Online dating isn't always the answer. Sometimes signs like this work better.
So Many Fans
This guy went shopping and had his wife take a picture of him in front of these fans just so he could say:
"We were out shopping today and who knew I would run into so many adoring fans?"
That's Not Her Husband
This woman ordered an apron from an Etsy shop, but the shop sent her the wrong apron.
She has no idea who this guy is, but she is definitely going to be wearing this apron every time she cooks now.
Someone Was Bored
It looks like someone was bored at the dollar store so they decided to make a rather rude mug arrangement.
Those letter mugs are just so enticing. It's hard not to do something like this.
Well, That's Coincidental
It looks like this cop car crashed right into a donut shop. You couldn't write comedy better than this. It works on so many levels.
I hope people or donuts were harmed.
Heat It Up
This ramen shop likes to leave little notes on their takeout boxes so people know how to best enjoy their food.
This is kind of adorable. Someone there has a sense of humor.
A Shrek Car
This person spotted a Shrek car in the parking lot of their local supermarket.
I don't think I've ever seen a car this green before. Shrek would be so proud.
A Knock-Off Barbie
Next to this actual Barbie toy is a knock-off version of everyone's favorite doll. Only, her name isn't Barbie. It's Beryl.
Could they have picked a more anti-Barbie name for her?
Wrinkle Remover
I think this might just be a piece of sandpaper, but you have to hand it to these people for their clever marketing.
Just don't rub sandpaper on your face, people.
A Sign Store
If you're in the business of selling signs, you better make sure that your own sign is an example of your top-notch products.
I don't have much confidence in this store.
A Peanut For Your Thoughts
If this sign doesn't inspire you to buy a bunch of peanuts, I don't know what will.
I actually kind of feel like eating peanuts now just from looking at this sign through the internet.
A Teddy Bear Picnic
This Paris cafe decided to outfit the front of their shop with a whole bunch of giant teddy bears.
It's a neat idea, but now there are no seats available for customers.
A Basic Oil Shop
It looks like everyone is getting in on the pumpkin spice trend, including this car tuning service.
I don't know what the point of pumpkin spice car oil would be, but it sounds lovely.
